We also like to drive out to Keurbooms regulary and visit the Heath along the way. Although we started with the drive and then a pizza lunch at Enrico’s. It was a lovely day, the parking lot at Keurbooms was full and despite the fact it is not cheap we do keep coming back. After lunch we stopped at the Heath on the way back to Knysna and bought this and that at the shop that stocks interesting things. The kids ran wild and I walked the labyrinth for the first time. There is a nice feel to the place and whilst they are maybe stretching it a bit when they claim that they have the best coffee on the N2, I never knew that there was difference between a maze and a labyrinth, so why worry?

Sunday, August 26th, 2007Sunday is always a question of where to go and weather permitting. We ended up at The Heath just after lunch and had very pleasant afternoon over coffee, humus and peppaw peppers on toast and the foofey (spelling) slide. On the way back we did Keurbooms just to see if there were any whales and were lucky enough to see the dolphins in the largest pod I have yet seen at any one time.
